Threadneedle Figurative Prize

Nicholas Charles Williams’ new work titled, Compassion Postponed, from his current series, the Demise of Compassion, has been shortlisted for the Threadneedle Figurative Prize, a major new art event in the annual British art calendar.

Seven works were selected for the shortlist from over 2,700 submissions by a distinguished panel of five judges: Brian Sewell, art critic of the London Evening Standard; William Packer, author, painter and art critic on the Financial Times; Richard Cork, broadcaster and art critic at the New Statesmen;

Angela Flowers, Chairman of Angela Flowers plc and artist Hew Locke.
