Nicholas Williams was invited to the fine art press Curwen Chilford in Cambridgeshire in 2000 and made the two lithographs ‘Plateau’ and ‘Searching II’. He returned to the Curwen the following year to make ‘Rest’ and Plateau III. All four prints are part of his ‘Desideratum’ series of works based on the theme of desire and pursuit.

Please check for availability. To purchase by post unframed priced £325.  All proceeds from the sale of Plateau III will go to the Curwen Print Study Centre, an educational charity established to promote fine art printmaking.

Each Lithograph is an edition of 75 and are signed and numbered by the artist.

The Curwen ranks as one of the world's greatest print making studios, making prints with many eminent artists from Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth through to Ana Maria Pacheco and David Hockney. In 1977 the Curwen print archive was established at Tate Britain.  The Curwen studio celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year (2008).
