Landscape oil sketches

These small (approx 17 x 13cm) plein air landscape oil sketches often serve as reference for larger works. The majority however, account for Williams' continued interest in aiming to capture the transitory nature of the landscape and represent diary-esque notations of a particular time and place. Each work is completed in a single session.
